1. Scope

This policy applies to all services at snipinsta.app and explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our online tools and related browser extension.

Snipinsta is operated by ZS Cloud Systems (SMC-Private) Limited, trading as 'ZsTechLabs', a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), which is responsible for the personal information described here.

2. Information We Collect

Uploaded Content

When you upload images (for compression, conversion, background removal, etc.), we process them temporarily to produce your requested output. We do not sell your images. Depending on the tool, processing may happen locally in your browser or on our servers.

For server-processed tool runs, the uploaded file and its output are temporary: they are deleted within 24 hours (usually sooner) and kept only to deliver your download, handle retries, prevent abuse and support diagnostics.

Files you choose to keep in your account (the "My files" library, saved collages, published memes and brand kits) are different: they are stored until you delete them or close your account, and they count towards your plan's storage allowance.

Usage Data

We automatically collect non-personal data–timestamps, tool used, browser type, and IP address–to monitor performance and prevent abuse.

3. Browser Extension Privacy

The Snipinsta browser extension is optional. It helps you detect media (images/videos) on web pages and send selected items to Snipinsta tools.

What the extension may access

• Page media URLs (e.g., image/video URLs) to let you select items for processing.
• Basic page context needed to extract media elements (for example, the current tab and the media elements on the page).
• Extension settings and queue state stored in extension storage on your device.

What the extension sends to Snipinsta

When you run a tool from the extension, the extension may send the selected media (either by downloading the media and uploading it, or by sending the URL-depending on the tool/flow) to Snipinsta to perform the requested processing. The extension does not sell this data.

Authentication

If you connect the extension to your Snipinsta account, the extension stores an authentication token in extension storage to authorize requests. You can disconnect at any time by signing out in the extension options or clearing extension storage.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• Prevent spam, fraud, and malicious activity.
• Analyze site usage and performance.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences (e.g., dark mode), enable core features, and gather anonymized analytics via Google Analytics. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may be affected.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertising on parts of this site. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites across the internet.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on these providers:

• Cloudflare for CDN, DDoS protection, and security, including Cloudflare Turnstile bot checks on some forms.
• Google Analytics for anonymized usage statistics.
• Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, for checkout, payment processing, invoicing and sales tax. You enter your payment details with Paddle; Snipinsta does not receive or store your card number.
• Tidio for live support chat, only while that widget is switched on (it is currently off).
• Trustpilot for the customer reviews widget.
• Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive, only when you choose to connect one of them to import your own files.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA, including:

• Accessing the personal data we hold about you.
• Requesting correction or deletion of your data.
• Opting out of certain data processing.

8. Data Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard security measures (HTTPS, access controls) to protect your data. For server-processed tool runs, uploaded files and outputs are purged within 24 hours; files you save to your account library stay until you delete them or close your account. We may retain limited logs for security and abuse prevention.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our site implies acceptance of any changes.
