How the Product Image Suite Works

Three steps from messy product photos to a marketplace-ready ZIP.

Upload Your Product Photos

Drag & drop up to 3 JPG, PNG, or WEBP images. Mixed sizes and orientations are fine - each shot is processed independently.

Pick a Marketplace Preset

Choose Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or square. Each preset locks in the right canvas size and subject fill ratio. Add an optional contact shadow for white backgrounds.

Download a Listing-Ready ZIP

We remove backgrounds, crop to the subject, center on the canvas, and export white JPGs or transparent PNGs - all packaged into a single ZIP with a manifest.

Marketplace-Ready Product Photos in One Click

Selling on multiple marketplaces means juggling different image rules: Amazon wants 2000×2000 pure white, Shopify product cards look best at 2048×2048, Etsy listings prefer 2000×1600, and your own catalog might want square. Doing this by hand in Photoshop for every SKU is slow and error-prone. The Snipinsta Product Image Suite automates the entire workflow - background removal, alpha-aware cropping, marketplace-correct sizing, centering, and optional shadow - in a single batch pass.

Tips for the Best Results

  • Shoot on a clean backdrop when possible - even AI background removal works better when the subject contrasts with the background.
  • Use the largest source resolution available. The suite downsizes during export, so high-res inputs produce sharper marketplace images.
  • Pick one preset per batch. Re-run the same files with a different preset to generate parallel listings without re-uploading.
  • Enable shadow for hero shots on white backgrounds; leave it off for transparent exports you plan to composite later.
  • Save your favorite settings as a preset so every future batch is one click away.

Why Marketplace Image Standards Matter

Marketplace search algorithms reward listings with clean, correctly sized images. Amazon, for example, requires the main product image to be at least 1600 pixels on the longest side and to use a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255) with the product filling 85% of the frame. Etsy and Shopify each have their own conventions for canvas size and subject placement. When images don't meet these standards, listings can be suppressed in search, demoted in carousels, or flagged for review.

The Product Image Suite enforces these rules automatically: AI-driven background removal isolates the subject, an alpha-aware bounding box trims dead pixels, a fixed subject fill ratio (around 88-90%) centers the product, and the canvas is filled with pure white or kept fully transparent. The result is a consistent, conversion-friendly catalog without per-image manual work.

Frequently Asked Questions

It batches your product photos through automatic background removal, then resizes and centers each subject onto a marketplace-correct canvas. You pick the preset (Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, square), choose pure white or transparent output, and download the whole pack as a ZIP.

Built-in presets target Amazon (2000×2000), Shopify (2048×2048), Etsy (2000×1600), and a generic square (1600×1600). Each preset uses the dimensions and subject fill ratio recommended by that marketplace.

The default limit is 3 images per run. Paid plans get higher batch limits. Each image is background-removed, cropped, resized, and centered in a single pass.

Choose white for marketplace listings that require pure white (Amazon main images, most catalog feeds). Choose transparent if you plan to drop the product into custom lifestyle scenes, banners, or your own design layouts.

It adds a subtle contact shadow under the product on white backgrounds so items look grounded instead of floating. Shadows are disabled automatically for transparent exports, since you'll usually add your own scene shadow later.

Yes. Configure marketplace, background, and shadow, then save it as a named preset. Saved presets stay available across visits and can be applied with a single click before each batch.
